I worked the Elton concert he did a few years ago and the same thing. While back stage he was the biggest DIVA I have ever seen. But when he walked past the curtain he turned it on and rocked the . While I think he can be an idiot he is a great performer. Ok , I love the Billy Joel concerts and like you said he rocks the house. Always the stand up guy. By the way next time check the show they do in Vegas. Better seats and great food after the show!

Billy Joel was a true class act. He and his band were awesome and saved the day. Elton's diva attitude was understandable but totally unacceptable.

Elton -REALITY CHECK....your audience shelled out big bucks, fount crowds on the metro, arrived hours early, stood in the rain waiting for the gates to open, had our bags searched and sat in seats made for midgets TO HEAR YOU AND BILLY.

At least BILLY REALIZED THE AUDIENCE DESERVED BETTER THEN A STAGE WALK OFF! BILLY, YOU ROCK!

So true my friend. Live every day to the fullest and take nothing for granted is a phrase we all say too often but don't live by enough. Be well.

Life is short and our time very precious. Things like this seem to happen in threes for some reason. The only way I have managed to get through them is to put things in God's hands and let go realizing he must have a greater purpose that I am unaware of. Perhaps someone needed help in heaven and these two angels for whatever reason could fulfil that need.

Dave: excellent real life oddities. Timing in all those cases as you mentioned. Including the tree falling at that time just right. It makes you wonder further about the meaning.

I was tiller on Montgomery Truck 19 in Montgomery Hills one night. Run for a call in Chevy Chase's area. Went down Seminary Rd and across the rail tracks and onto Forsythe Av and just seconds befor we got there a huge oak tree had spontaneosly dropped and was laying accross. It was still bouncing when we came around the corner. Weird timing. Thanks for sharing.

You are not alone. I too have had a lifelong love of Emergency. Here's a little irony, I love the show, bought the VHS tapes due to the airing of 2003. At such time, I became disabled and met my current boyfriend. Upon talking within the first few months, he told me that he loved the show and became a paramedic because of it. What a small world?

I'm from Charlotte NC.Huge personal fan of actor Randy Mantooth alias Johnny Gage of "Emergency!" I collect all 6 seasons of the 70's TV series.Takes me back to my grade school days. It's real educational & it inspires me on what I want to do in my future.Help other people in dire needs.I was victim of a car accident 3 years ago. Both the firefighters & medics saved my life.At least I wasn't seriously injured. But with 5 months of therapy,I'm back on my feet again & driving a better car.I love every minute of the show.Johnny Gage is 1 of my favorite 70's TV icons."10-4 Squad 51." "Station 51,KMG-365."
